VISALIA, CA (November 4, 2024) — A man rollerblading was hit and injured by a car near Walnut Avenue and County Center Drive.

According to the Visalia Police officers, the rollerblading accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Under unclear circumstances, a westbound driver struck a man on rollerblades traveling on the east and westbound lanes.

Subsequently, the driver pulled over and waited for the authorities to arrive.

Shortly after, paramedics shuttled the patient to Kaweah Health Systems with major injuries. Meanwhile, police investigated the scene and confirmed that neither drugs nor alcohol factored into the collision.
