NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 23, 2023) — A man riding a scooter was hit and killed by a DUI driver on Vineland Avenue near Riverside Drive.
 
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the fatal scooter crash happened around 12:50 a.m. Wednesday. For DUI-related reasons, a woman driving a southbound vehicle struck a man riding a scooter in the southbound bike lane.
 
The man, whose identity is unavailable, died in the accident. The woman stayed at the scene and now faces DUI charges after she failed a sobriety test.
