Motorcyclist Dies in Accident on Highway 101 in Encino

 
ENCINO, CA (February 23, 2023) — A motorcyclist died in a crash on Highway 101 near White Oak Avenue.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal motorcycle crash happened around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday.
 
Under unclear circumstances, a person operating a motorcycle crashed into an SUV. The motorcyclist was lodged underneath the SUV and appeared to be beyond medical help upon being discovered by arriving paramedics.
 
The motorcycle rider died in the accident. Officials have not released the victim’s name at this time.
