Motorcycle Accident on North Livermore Avenue Kills Rider and Badly Injures Passenger

 
LIVERMORE, CA (September 13, 2023) – A man was killed and a woman was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on North Livermore Avenue Thursday evening on September 7.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:30 p.m. just north of the 580 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding the motorcycle northbound with the woman as his passenger.
 
For unknown reasons, the motorcycle ran off the roadway and struck a tree, ejecting both the rider and his passenger.
 
The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Paramedics rushed the woman to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley with major injuries
 
At this time, the cause of the crash and factors involved remain under investigation.
