Three-Vehicle Accident at Mariposa and Eucalyptus Roads Kills 1 and Injures Another

 
HESPERIA, CA (December 11, 2022) – A man died in a three-vehicle accident at Mariposa Road and Eucalyptus Road in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 2:44 p.m. on December 7. According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, a white box truck, a maroon Ford pickup truck and a Kia sedan collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Responding firefighters extricated the male driver of the Ford pickup, but despite life-saving measures, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately available.

A female passenger inside the Ford sustained minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Meanwhile, the driver of the box truck was unharmed.

Crews closed Mariposa Road between Avenal Street and Turko Avenue for the investigation.
