Man Killed in Three-Vehicle Accident at Garey Avenue and Alvarado Street [Pomona, CA]

Three-Vehicle Crash on Garey Avenue in Pomona Leaves 1 Driver Dead

 
POMONA, CA (January 14, 2024) – A man died in a three-vehicle accident at Garey Avenue and Alvarado Street in Pomona on Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 7:34 p.m. on January 12. According to the Pomona Police Department, three vehicles collided at the intersection for unknown reasons.
 
Firefighter paramedics rushed the three drivers to a hospital with moderate to severe injuries.
 
Sadly, one of the drivers did not survive and died at the hospital. Authorities withheld his identity pending notification of next of kin.
 
The department’s Major Accident Investigation Team continued to work the case. They asked anyone with additional information to call them at 909-620-2048.
