Man Dies after Struck by Truck While Riding Pocket Bike on Vineland Avenue in Baldwin Park

 
BALDWIN PARK, CA (September 4, 2023) – A man was killed in a pocket bike accident at Vineland Avenue and Pacific Avenue in Baldwin Park on Saturday afternoon.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:15 p.m. on September 2. According to the Baldwin Park Police Department, the man was riding his pocket bike when a GMC truck struck him.
 
As a result, the rider suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
 
The driver of the truck remained on scene and cooperated with police.
 
Crews closed the intersection for about two and a half hours for the crash investigation.
