Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Crash on Thompson Boulevard in Ventura

 
VENTURA, CA (April 12, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash at Thompson Boulevard and Ash Street in Ventura, early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal crash happened just before 12:30 a.m. on April 10. According to the Ventura Police Department, the male pedestrian was heading north crossing Thompson Boulevard when a westbound silver car struck him.
 
After striking the pedestrian, the driver fled the scene without rendering aid.
 
Officers arrived and found the victim suffering from a head injury and unconscious in the street.
 
Paramedics also responded and assessed the man’s condition. However, the 30-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
