Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Passing Vehicle on White Avenue in Pomona

 
POMONA, CA (January 25, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident at White Avenue and Texas Street in Pomona on Saturday evening.
 
The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on January 22. According to the Pomona Police Department, the male pedestrian walked into lanes of traffic for unknown reasons when a passing vehicle struck him.
 
When police arrived, they found the pedestrian suffering from severe injuries. Paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he later died.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
The involved motorist remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
