37-Year-Old Man Struck, Killed by Vehicle on Visalia Road in Tulare County

 
TULARE COUNTY, CA (November 8, 2022) – A 37-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Visalia Road, Monday evening.
 
According to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened on November 7, at about 9:30 p.m. A 19-year-old driver reportedly made a U-turn when her vehicle hit a pedestrian near Magnolia Street.
 
Responders found the victim pinned under the car and immediately performed life-saving measures.
 
Emergency crews later pronounced the man dead at the scene. Authorities withheld the identity of the victim, pending notification of next of kin.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with investigators.
 
Officers noted that it was dark and that the man attempted to cross outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
The sheriff’s office continues to investigate the cause of the fatal accident.
