Man Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Tyler Street near Hole Avenue [Riverside, CA]

34-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Sedan on Tyler Street in Riverside

 
RIVERSIDE, CA (December 26, 2022) – A 34-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident on Tyler Street in Riverside late Sunday evening on December 25.
 
The fatal accident happened around 11:00 p.m. just south of Hole Avenue. According to Riverside Police Department, a 25-year-old Riverside resident was driving a 2001 Lincoln sedan southbound on Tyler Street when they struck the male pedestrian.
 
First responders rushed the pedestrian to Riverside Community Hospital. However, lifesaving-measures were unsuccessful.
 
The unidentified victim was pronounced dead at the hospital.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorties.
