Man Dies in Red Bluff Pedestrian Accident on Main Street

 
RED BLUFF, CA (November 30, 2021) — A man died in a pedestrian accident on Main Street near River Park Way on Saturday evening.
 
According to officers, Red Bluff Police responded to the scene around 5:10 p.m. Upon arriving, they found a 58-year-old man unresponsive in the roadway. Following an investigation, police learned that the pedestrian was walking eastbound on Main Street south of a crosswalk.
 
However, an oncoming driver heading southbound struck him near River Park Way.
 
Not long after, responding paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
 
At this time, the victim’s name and the ultimate cause and liabilities require additional investigation. However, anyone with more information should contact the Red Bluff Police Department.
