One Person Hurt in Palermo Rollover Crash near Lower Honcut Road

 
PALERMO, CA (November 30, 2021) — One person was injured in a rollover accident near Lower Honcut Road and Highway 70 on Sunday night.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the rollover crash happened Sunday night south of Gridley. Under unclear circumstances, one car tried to pass another vehicle, but another vehicle began approaching the scene.
 
As a result, two cars nearly crashed and drifted off the road.
 
Fortunately, four people inside one of the cars that overturned made it out safely. However, paramedics transported a patient to a hospital with cuts.
 
At this time, authorities have not released information on the cause of the crash or the names of the victims. Although, anyone with information should contact the authorities.
