Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on Highway 14 in Mojave

 
MOJAVE, CA (May 3, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Highway 14 in Mojave Saturday on April 29.
 
The fatal accident happened shortly after midnight, just south of Highway 58. According to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office, the male pedestrian was walking along northbound Highway 14 when a vehicle struck him.
 
The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver stayed after the crash.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
