Pedestrian Accident on Euclid Street in Anaheim Turns Deadly
ANAHEIM, CA (July 12, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Euclid Street at Sallie Lane late Thursday evening.
The accident happened around 10:50 p.m. on July 8. According to the Anaheim Police Department, the man was trying to cross Euclid Street when a vehicle traveling northbound struck him.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the northbound lanes. Paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital, where he later died.
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.
Police determined drugs and alcohol were not factors in the crash. The intersection does not have traffic lights or marked crosswalks.
Further investigation is underway.
