Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Car on 805 Freeway in San Diego Early Wednesday Morning

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (November 13, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 805 Freeway in San Diego early Wednesday morning on November 9.
 
The accident happened around 4:48 a.m. along the northbound 805 Freeway, just north of 8 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking within the traffic lanes when a Chrysler Sedan struck him.
 
As a result, the man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver, a 41-year-old woman, remained on scene and cooperated with officers. She was not suspected of driving under the influence.
 
A toxicology report is pending to determine if the pedestrian was under the influence.
