Suspect of Stolen Vehicle Sustains Injuries after Multi-Vehicle Crash on Norwalk Boulevard in Cerritos

 
CERRITOS, CA (November 13, 2022) – A man was injured in a multi-vehicle accident at Norwalk Boulevard and Del Amo Boulevard in Cerritos on Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened just after 10:00 a.m. on November 9. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the man was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle leading sheriff’s deputies on a chase.
 
The chase ended up in a crash involving several vehicles. The suspect collapsed near the crash scene while apparently trying to flee on foot.
 
Responding paramedics treated the suspect for a possible leg injury. It was unclear if anyone else was injured.
 
An investigation into the crash is underway.
