SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 24, 2021) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino Friday evening.
 
The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on August 20, near Highland Avenue. According to California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking toward the center divider when a white Dodge Charger struck him. While the man was lying on the roadway, a black Volkswagen Jetta also hit him.
 
First responders rendered aid, but the victim died at the scene.
 
Coroner’s officials withheld the man’s identity pending family notification.
 
The circumstances of this fatal accident remain under investigation.
