Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (August 31, 2021) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 215 Freeway in San Bernardino late Friday evening on August 20.
 
The accident happened around 10:16 p.m., at the 27th Street on-ramp. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
The impact caused the man severe injuries. First responders attempted saving him, but he died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available. It is also unknown if the involved driver remained on scene after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident.
