Pedestrian Dies after Hit by Several Vehicles on 170 Freeway in North Hollywood

 
NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA (April 7, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 170 Freeway in North Hollywood, early Tuesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:55 a.m. on April 5 along the northbound lanes of 170 Freeway at Sherman Way. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was trying to cross the freeway when at least four vehicles struck him.
 
The victim, who was only described as someone is his 40s, suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
 
All drivers involved had stopped and cooperated with authorities. One of them sustained minor injuries.
