45-Year-Old Man Dies after Struck by Car on 16th Road in Kings County

 
KINGS COUNTY, CA (June 7, 2022) – A 45-year-old man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 16th Road in Kings County on Friday evening, June 3.
 
The accident happened around 8:45 p.m. just east of 16th Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was walking his dog on 16th Road when a car struck them.
 
As a result, both the man and his dog were pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s identity was withheld at this time.
 
The driver remained on scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
It is unknown if drugs or alcohol was a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
