Pedestrian Dies after Struck by SUV On 15 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (December 26, 2023) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 15 Freeway in Rancho Cucamonga Saturday evening on December 23.
 
The fatal accident happened around 8:17 p.m. at 4th Street. According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was running across lanes on the northbound 15 Freeway when a white SUV struck him.
 
After the crash, the drivers of the SUV and several other vehicles stopped to help the man.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and tried saving the victim, but he died at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the man was not immediately available.
 
An investigation into this fatality is ongoing.
