Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle on 110 Freeway in Downtown LA

 
DOWNTOWN LOS ANGELES, CA (September 19, 2022) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Sunday morning, September 18.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:00 a.m. in the northbound lanes of the freeway, just south of 101 Freeway. According to the California Highway Patrol, the male pedestrian was walking on the freeway when a vehicle struck him.
 
The man suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Authorities withheld his identity at this time.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was unharmed.
 
Crews closed all northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway for several hours while they cleared the wreckage.
 
An investigation into this fatality is underway.
