Fatal Pedestrian Accident on 10 Freeway at Riverside Avenue

 
RIALTO, CA (April 29, 2021) – A man died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway in Rialto late Monday evening.
 
The accident happened around 11:55 p.m. on April 26 in the eastbound lanes of the freeway, just west of Riverside Avenue. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was walking on the right shoulder when a semi truck hit him.
 
First responders pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
 
It is unknown if the involved driver has stayed after the crash.
 
CHP officials are still investigating the accident to determine the factors involved and liability.
