Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Third Avenue in Chula Vista

 
CHULA VISTA, CA (October 6, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Third Avenue at Orange Avenue on Tuesday.
 
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, the motorcycle crash happened around 10:30 p.m. Witnesses informed officers that they saw a motorcycle speeding before entering the intersection against a red traffic light.
 
Subsequently, the motorcycle crashed into the side of a Metropolitan Transit System bus.
 
Soon after, First Responders arrived at the scene and found the unresponsive man. However, despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of family members.
 
No one on board the bus reported injuries, fortunately.
