Fatal Fullerton Motorcycle Crash on Orangethorpe Avenue

 
FULLERTON, CA (August 18, 2022) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Orangethorpe Avenue near the 57 Freeway on Tuesday.
 
According to Capt. Jon Radus, Department Public Information officer, Fullerton police responded to the scene around 11:40 a.m. Upon responding, officials found a 46-year-old man with significant life-threatening injuries.
 
Shortly after, paramedics brought the victim to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have withheld his name pending notification of next of kin.
 
In the investigation, officers determined that the 2004 Honda motorcycle was moving at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear passenger side of a 2022 Ford Maverick compact pickup turning into a parking lot.
