Man Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Indian Canyon Drive in Desert Hot Springs

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (May 23, 2023) — A man died in a motorcycle accident on Indian Canyon Drive near 14th Avenue.
 
According to California Highway Patrol Officer David Torres, the deadly multi-vehicle crash happened around 4:50 a.m. Sunday. Under unclear circumstances, a Toyota Corolla driver rear-ended a motorcycle. The impact caused the 22-year-old motorcyclist to be thrown from the bike and onto the road where he was hit by an oncoming Honda Civic.
 
The unidentified motorcyclist, only described as a Rancho Mirage man, passed away in the crash. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office has yet to release his name.
 
Authorities did not confirm the liabilities of the crash or other factors that played a role. However, an investigation into these details should reveal more information.
