Fatal Motorcycle Crash at East Brundage Lane and Madison Street

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (May 29, 2021) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident at East Brundage Lane and Madison Street in Southeast Bakersfield.
 
The accident happened around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 29. According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle when he broadsided a truck for unknown reasons.
 
The motorcycle then overturned and the rider died at the scene.
 
A man and a woman in the truck sustained minor injuries and were taken to a nearby hospital.
 
The Kern County Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s identity once next of kin are properly notified.
 
Bakersfield police are still investigating the cause of the crash. They asked anyone with further information to call them at 661-327-7111.
