Motorcyclist Dies after Crash with Car near Cedar Boulevard in Newark

 
NEWARK, CA (December 19, 2022) – A man died in a motorcycle accident near Cedar Boulevard and Dupont Avenue in Newark on Wednesday morning.
 
The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. on December 14. According to the Newark Police Department, the man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Cedar Avenue when he struck a car that was turning left from Dupont onto southbound Cedar.
 
When officers arrived, they found the motorcyclist in the roadway. Despite emergency life-saving measures, the man died at the scene.
 
Authorities only identified the deceased as a 28-year-old Fremont resident.
 
The driver of the car stayed on scene and cooperated with police.
