Elderly Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Vehicle near Vineyard Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga

 
RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA (December 19, 2022) – An 83-year-old man died in a pedestrian accident near Vineyard Avenue and Foothill Boulevard early Wednesday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 4:18 a.m. on December 14. According to the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department, the elderly pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, driven by a 56-year-old Rancho Cucamonga man.
 
Paramedics arrived soon after and pronounced the pedestrian dead at the scene.
 
At this time, the identity of the victim was not immediately available.
