Hit-and-Run Driver Fatally Strikes Man in Shopping Center Parking Lot on Tierrasanta Boulevard

 
TIERRASANTA, CA (April 5, 2024) – A 52-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on on Tierrasanta Boulevard near La Cuenta Drive Thursday afternoon on April 4.
 
According to the San Diego Police Department, the man was found lying on the ground in a shopping center parking lot around 12:25 p.m. The victim appeared to have been struck by a vehicle that did not stop.
 
Officers pronounced the man dead at the scene. His identity was withheld at this time.
 
No other details were immediately available. Further investigation is underway.
