Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Douglas Avenue in Visalia

 
VISALIA, CA (February 18, 2024) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on Douglas Avenue in Visalia Friday evening on February 16.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 9:00 p.m. near Santa Fe Street. According to the Visalia Police Department, the male pedestrian was walking in the area when a vehicle struck him.
 
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene after the crash.
 
First responders found the victim lying in the roadway with significant injuries. They rushed him to a hospital, where he later died.
