Pedestrian Dies after Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver on Century Boulevard in South LA

 
SOUTH LOS ANGELES, CA (March 26, 2023) – A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Century Boulevard and Hoover Street in the South Los Angeles area on Thursday evening.
 
The fatal crash happened around 8:55 p.m. on March 23. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the man was walking on the roadway when a dark-colored pickup truck struck him.
 
After the crash, the driver of the vehicle took off without rendering aid.
 
First responders found the man lying on the roadway with fatal injuries. They pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
A standing reward of up to $50,000 has been offered by the city of Los Angeles for help solving this fatal hit-and-run.
