Head-On Crash near Richman Avenue in Fullerton Kills One Driver

 
FULLERTON, CA (September 18, 2023) – A 28-year-old man was killed in a head-on accident near Richman Avenue and Orangethorpe Avenue in Fullerton on Friday evening.
 
The fatal accident happened around 9:00 p.m. on September 15. According to the Fullerton Police Department, a white Honda Civic was traveling at a high rate of speed when it swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid rear-ending another car that was going slower. It then collided head-on with a gray Nissan Pathfinder.
 
As a result, the man driving the Civic suffered significant injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he later died. He was not yet identified.
 
The 44-year-old driver of the Nissan and his 8-year-old female passenger both sustained minor injuries.
 
Both cars sustained severe front-end damage.
 
An investigation is still ongoing. Police urged anyone with further information to contact detectives at 714-738-6812.
