Fatal Head-On Accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach

 
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (June 1, 2022) – A man was killed in a head-on accident on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The accident happened around 12:30 p.m. on May 31 just north of Goldenwest Street. According to the Huntington Beach Police Department, a 2005 Toyota Camry drifted over a raised median on PCH and crashed head-on into a northbound 2013 Volkswagen.
 
As a result, the driver of the Camry suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. According to the police records, the victim was an 82-year-old Seal Beach resident.
 
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old woman driving the Volkswagen sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The crash is still under investigation. Police asked witnesses to call them at 714-536-5670.
