Car Crashes into the Backyard of La Verne Home on Saint Mark Avenue, Killing Two People
LA VERNE, CA (June 1, 2022) – One person was killed in a car accident on Saint Mark Avenue in La Verne on Tuesday morning, May 31.
The accident happened around 9:20 a.m. near Baseline Road. According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, a car had jumped a curb and went through a wall.
It then ended into the backyard of a residence in the 4300 block of Saint Mark Avenue.
As a result, one person suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. They were not yet identified.
Traffic was routed away from the area while an investigation was conducted. It is unknown if speed, drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
