Man Dies after Crash Involving Parked Motorhome on Golden State Boulevar in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (December 20, 2023) – A man was killed after a driver struck his parked motorhome on Golden State Boulevard in Fresno Monday evening on December 18.
 
The fatal crash happened just after 7:00 p.m. near the Shaw Avenue exit. According to the California Highway Patrol, a woman in her mid-60s was driving a gray car when she lost control and slammed into the motorhome illegally parked on the side of the road.
 
The man who was inside the motorhome suffered fatal injuries from the crash and died at the scene. Authorities only described him as someone in his 50s.
 
The woman driving the car was rushed to a local hospital with major injuries.
 
Witnesses said the victim was trying to fix his motorhome to move it from Fresno to Coarsegold later that night.
 
At this time, it is unknown if speed or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
