Car Crashes into Light Pole on Pershing Avenue in Stockton Killing One and Injuring Three Others

 
STOCKTON, CA (January 8, 2024) – A man was killed in a car accident at Pershing Avenue and Brookside Road in Stockton early Sunday morning.
 
The fatal accident happened around 3:32 a.m. on January 7. According to the Stockton Police Department, the 23-year-old man was driving his vehicle when he crashed into a light pole at the intersection.
 
Responding paramedics rushed him to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity was not immediately available.
 
Three passengers in the car suffered minor to moderate injuries.
 
Officers are still investigating what caused the crash and factors involved.
