Man Dies in Car Crash on Highway 18 in Big Bear City

 
BIG BEAR CITY, CA (May 23, 2022) – A man was killed in a car accident on Highway 18 in Big Bear City on Wednesday morning, May 11.
 
The accident happened around 3:52 a.m. near Dump Access Road. According to the California Highway Patrol, a vehicle was traveling on the highway when it crashed for unknown reasons.
 
The passenger, a Hispanic male, was pronounced dead at the scene around 4:18 a.m.
 
The name, age and hometown of the victim were not immediately available.
 
At this time, an investigation into this accident is ongoing. It is unclear if drugs or alcohol was a factor.
