Driver Dies after Broadsiding Another Vehicle on Highway 132 in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (November 21, 2023) – A man was killed in a broadside accident on Highway 132 in Modesto early Tuesday morning on November 21.
 
The fatal accident happened around 1:35 a.m. at Geer Road. According to California Highway Patrol, the 32-year-old man was driving a Ford sedan. He failed to stop at a red light and broadsided a Ford Explorer.
 
As a result of the crash, the man driving the sedan suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. His identity was not immediately available.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the Ford SUV only sustained minor injuries.
 
It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the crash. Further investigation is underway.
