Bicyclist Dies after Struck by Train on East Main Street in Turlock

 
TURLOCK, CA (April 10, 2023) – A man in his 50s was killed after a bicycle and train crash at the railroad tracks on East Main Street in Turlock Wednesday on April 5.
 
According to the Turlock Police Department, the man tried to cross the tracks when the railroad arms were down when the northbound train struck him from behind.
 
First responders transported the man to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The victim was not yet identified.
 
Several intersections were closed as law enforcement collected evidence and processed the scene.
