BAKERSFIELD, CA (September 30, 2022) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Chester Avenue near Columbus Street on Wednesday.
 
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the major injury pedestrian accident happened around 1:45 a.m. For unknown reasons, an unidentified man was standing in the middle of the road near Sam Lynn Ballpark.
