ROSEMEAD, CA (September 30, 2022) — Three people were injured in a car accident on Valley Boulevard near Ivar Avenue on Wednesday.
 
According to Lt. Frank Ruiz, the incident happened around 3:15 p.m. near Ivar Avenue. While a deputy was on duty searching for a suspect in the area, his vehicle struck a woman’s car under unclear circumstances.
 
Due to the impact, the patrol vehicle careered into a business near the intersection. At some point during the crash, a pedestrian was also hit and injured.
 
Shortly after, paramedics reached the scene and found three patients with injuries, including the deputy with minor injuries and the woman with cuts and complaints of pain.
