CONCORD, CA (June 2, 2023) — A man was injured in a hit-and-run bicycle accident at Willow Pass Road and Diamond Boulevard.
 
According to the Concord Police Department, the hit-and-run accident happened around 9:44 p.m. Wednesday. Under unclear circumstances, a driver in what authorities believe was a black Honda Civic struck the 39-year-old bicyclist. The driver left the scene, leaving the victim in critical condition.
 
Authorities do not have information on the driver except that the vehicle might have damage to its front-end hood and possibly front windshield.
