Man Hospitalized in E-Bike Crash on Washington Street in San Diego

 
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 16, 2023) — A man was injured in an e-bike accident on Washington Street at 8th Avenue.
 
According to authorities, the two-vehicle crash happened around 7:00 p.m. Saturday. For an unknown reason, a 47-year-old man riding an e-bike at a high rate of speed struck the rear of a 2014 Ford C-Max. It appears the 38-year-old woman inside the Ford was in the left lane, stopped at a red traffic light at the Washington Street and 8th Avenue intersection.
 
Minutes later, paramedics arrived and shuttled the injured man to a local hospital. He suffered a broken right wrist among other injuries.
