Motorcycle Rider Sustains Injuries after Crash with Sedan on 15 Freeway in Hesperia

 
HESPERIA, CA (January 3, 2024) – A man was hospitalized in a motorcycle accident on 15 Freeway in Hesperia on Christmas Day.
 
The accident happened around 4:05 p.m. along the southbound freeway near the Joshua Street off-ramp. According to the CHP, a green Kawasaki motorcycle and a white Ford Focus collided for unknown reasons.
 
The motorcycle rider, who appeared to be in his early 20s, was alert and speaking with Good Samaritans who stopped to help until emergency workers arrived.
 
Responding San Bernardino County Fire Department crews found the rider and the vehicle along the right shoulder of the freeway.
 
A ground ambulance took the rider to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
 
The driver of the car, who did not require medical attention, remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
 
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville station.
