Man Hit, Killed by 2 Cars on McHenry Avenue in Modesto

 
MODESTO, CA (October 28, 2022) — A man was hit and killed by two cars on McHenry Avenue near Roseburg Avenue on Sunday.
 
According to Modesto police officers, the fatal pedestrian accident happened around 11:00 p.m. In the 1200 block of McHenry Avenue, a driver in the southbound lanes struck a 31-year-old man mid-block. As the driver pulled over, a second vehicle struck the same man.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded to the scene and brought the victim to a hospital where he died. His name is unavailable at this time.
 
Police are handling an investigation to identify whether other cars were involved. Thus far, they do not suspect impairment to have played a role in this accident. However, if anyone has more information on this crash, please call the Modesto Police.
