Two Hurt in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident in San Jose

 
SAN JOSE, CA (October 28, 2022) — A grandmother and a toddler were injured in a hit-and-run pedestrian accident on Sierra Road near Mauna Kea Lane.
 
According to reports, the hit-and-run accident happened Tuesday evening. For unknown reasons, a driver barreling down the 3200 block of Sierra Road struck a San Jose grandmother pushing a 3-year-old in a stroller.
 
The pair was in a marked crosswalk at the time the driver struck them. Following the impact, the vehicle left the scene, its driver failing to stop to render aid.
 
Following the accident, paramedics brought the 68-year-old grandmother to a local hospital for treatment of three broken ribs and a broken shoulder. The 3-year-old boy was also injured with a scar and a bruise on his head.
