67-Year-Old Woman Killed in Suspected Street Racing Crash on M Street in Merced

 
MERCED, CA (October 28, 2022) — A 67-year-old woman died in a possible street racing accident on M Street at Buena Vista Drive.
 
According to Merced Police, the accident happened Wednesday when a Chevy Camaro was driving southbound on M Street, possibly street racing. Subsequently, the Camaro struck a Nissan Altima that pulled out from Buena Vista Drive.
 
As a result of the impact, the 67-year-old woman in the Nissan died in the crash. At this time, police do not have information on the 25-year-old Camaro driver and whether this was related to street racing.
