BERKELEY, CA (February 10, 2022) — A man was hit and injured by a BART train near MacArthur Station and Ashby Station on Wednesday.
 
According to BART police, the train accident happened around 11:25 p.m. Under unclear circumstances, a BART train on the Orange-N line struck the unidentified man.
 
Soon after, paramedics responded and brought the patient to Highland Hospital for medical treatment.
 
Due to the crash, the BART train experienced major delays for commuters. At this time, police have yet to release the patient’s condition and the circumstances of the crash. Although any witnesses who would like to speak to BART Police can call their offices.
